(IntegrityWeather.com) — Northwest flow pattern for the week of January 12th.
A ridge of high pressure over the west CONUS will establish a northwest flow pattern with all storm systems forced to move overtop this feature during the week of January 12th.
This will create a window for Alberta clippers to slide from northwest to southeast through the Midwest offering quick rounds of snow accumulation and shots of colder air.
The pattern is already recognized here with two targeted storm dates, one around January 15-16th and a secondary around the 18-19th of the month.
Additional updates to follow as we move closer to the set of dates specified above.
