(IntegrityWeather.com) — An advancing warm front is forecast to lift northward across Iowa today, followed by a cold front Monday evening which will become the focus for severe weather.
While the exact timeline may evolve, scattered severe thunderstorms will be probable after 7pm along the cold front from Minnesota through northwest Iowa and into eastern Nebraska.
A risk for at least quarter-size hail and severe wind gusts of 60+ mph will be the primary threat, though a brief/weak tornado risk may also materialize.
