A warm front will continue to advance eastward across the northern Plains today ahead of a cold front, which will become the focus for two rounds of severe storms tonight through Monday.
Severe thunderstorms are forecast to develop over parts of the Dakotas this evening while gradually moving southeastward into parts of Minnesota and Iowa by Monday morning.
As the cold front advances southeastward, redevelopment Monday afternoon/evening may promote a risk for primarily damaging winds and isolated large hail across parts of IA/MN/WI.

While forecast models are struggling with the evolution of mesoscale features, further updates will be needed into Monday morning.
